[Personality]
"Oh? A personality section! How wonderful!"

Born and raised in the castle, Estelle is a prime example of nobility. She's prim and proper when she needs to be, diligent, respectful, well-read, and always has the best interests of the people at heart. However, because she wasn't allowed to leave the castle until she was eighteen (although "allowed" probably isn't the best term) Estelle is quite naive. There was a lot of the outside world she hadn't seen or experienced prior to the journey, and even afterwards, there's still a lot that she has to figure out. She's very trusting, and innocent to a fault, although this gets her into trouble on multiple occasions. Externally, however, Estelle remains very cheerful and friendly.

She's also very conflicted, although indecisive is a better term. Estelle believes in the rules of the Empire, and she truly believes that the nobles and courts are working in everyone's best interests, and that the rules they set reflect that, but she's also seen some of the darker parts and met some of the nastier people in the world. Estelle's flighty and flaky enough to have problems making everyday decisions, so when it comes to a large decision she often hesitates. Even once she makes a large decision, she second-guesses herself and the decision later on. Eventually, during the course of Brave Vesperia's journey, she becomes better at deciding what she wants for herself, although she still retains a small degree of indecisiveness.

Having nothing better to do, or rather having nothing else that she would prefer to do, Estelle spent her time in the castle reading, as well as learning the basics of swordplay. Although she was kept inside the castle, she often found solace in the worlds of books. After eighteen years, she's had the chance to read through most of the books in the castle's library, and has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of its contents. She's eager to get her hands on whatever she can to read, be it fantasy or an instruction manual. In a world where she wasn't a candidate to be the Emperor, she would have settled down somewhere and made a living writing children's books. Because of her adventures with Brave Vesperia, she's had the chance to do just that.

Estelle is a Child of the Full Moon, a descendant of an ancient race that carries with it a special power. She's able to harness and use Aer without the use of blastia, and has sufficiently strong healing artes. Estelle makes full use of her powers to help other people; whenever somebody falls, she immediately rushes to their aide, even if it's not the smartest move at the time. This has caused problems in the past, when her healing has been rejected by Entelexia. Regardless, she tries to use her best to have her powers help people, and she can't stand hurting people, to the point where it becomes detrimental to herself. She would rather die than hurt her friends, and nearly does when she's under the control of Alexei. Ultimately, however, Brave Vesperia is able to break the spell, and she rejoins her friends.

[Abilities]
Arte List
Estelle is trained in the art of swordsmanship, so she has a basic grasp of fencing. In addition, she has her healing and light magic artes, both of which pack a punch, but are scaled down in Somarium.

She also holds a connection with the four great spirits, but it's very loose to begin with, so it likely wouldn't exist in the dream world.

[First Person]

- What do you think of your home world?
Terca Lumereis is very lovely. Despite the threat of monsters, and even without the blastia, people still live in harmony.

- If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
I would love to go back, if I were able. As interesting as Somarium is, I miss my friends and I have things I need to take care of. Oh! I definitely won't forget this place, though. It will make a wonderful story.

- What were you doing before now?
I had been putting the finishing touches on Tales of Vesperia. After defeating the Adephagos, everything slowed down. I moved to Halure tempararily so I could work on my novel outside of the castle, but sometimes I still help Brave Vesperia with missions.

- If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do?
I would fight back and defend myself, but I wouldn't want the other person hurt. They probably have a very good reason for attacking me; if I heard their side of the story, may we could work something out.

- If I offered to save your soul for a price, would you go with it and why?
I'm not sure. Living without a soul would be terrible, but there are some things worse than death.

- You are on the verge of death. You know there is no way to survive and there's no coming back. Choose any of the following to answer: What is your last wish?
For everyone to live on happily.

- You have two options: either save your friend who is hanging from a cliff, or chase after the bad guy who put them in a position. If you choose the former, the bad guy will get away and it will be hard to catch him. If you choose the latter, the cliff will crumble and the friend will fall to the spiky rocks below. What do you do and why?
Saving someone is always more important than going after the person who hurt them, I think. It's better to do something positive than something that may cause pain or hurt to someone else.

- You discover someone stalking you. Do you call the police or deal with it yourself?
I wouldn't want to bother anyone. Besides, I'm capable of taking care of myself.

- There is a cake in the rain. What do you do?
A cake? Eat it! Oh, I hope it's strawberry...

- Would you consider yourself a well traveled person? If so, what are some of your favorite places?
I've traveled all of Terca Lumereis, but everyone tells me I'm still naïve. I don't think I can pick out my favorite place, though, everywhere was just so wonderful!

- Do you have any future goals or dreams? What are they?
I would like to continue writing novels, if I have the chance. Continuing to adventure with Brave Vesperia would be lovely, too.

- Am I asking too many personal or strange questions?
No, these are quite alright. Would you like to continue?

- Oh no! Someone tripped and injured themselves right in front of you! What do you do?
Are they okay? The first thing I do is run up and heal them.

- Hey, did you hear about that giant sale going on? Interested? What would you want to get?
A sale? That does sound interesting. I wonder if Rita or Judith would come with me!

- Will you make a contract with me? /人 ◕ ‿‿ ◕ 人\
Oh? What sort of contract?

[Third Person]
Estelle struck a match, relighting the candle. She wasn't sure how long she'd been at it; she'd started in the morning, writing a small paragraph when she'd first gotten up. She'd followed that with her normal morning routine of tea and biscuits, followed by more writing. At some point in the mid-afternoon, she'd gotten stuck and decided to take a break, going outside to view the trees of Halure, which had just started blooming. She'd come back in, made a little more progress on that letter she was preparing to send to Yuri (but of course, she'd been working on that for a month, so it was unlikely it would get sent out anytime soon. She'd come close a couple times, but there was always just one more thing to add, or one last correction to be made, and so it sat atop a pile of papers, unfinished). There were a few pages she'd drafted after that, and then she'd gone back and revised the work she'd already done.

She was unaware just how much time had passed, but it had already become night by the time she was done. If she tried really hard, she could probably finish the chapter by morning, but she was already up to Sword Stairs of Zaphias castle, and she just couldn't bring herself to finish writing the scene. Whenever she pushed her pen down, the memories came flooding back, and she lost the will to continue. She'd already skipped forward and done several chapters, but whenever she tried to write out that scene, she was at a loss. Plus, there was the added difficulty of making it appropriate for children of a younger age, which while easy for most of the story, exponentially rose in difficulty in other places. She sighed, putting away her work for the night, before making herself another cup of tea, and sitting down with the book Yuri had sent her as a present.

These were peaceful days, she mused, tucked away in a hidden corner of Halure. Of course, when the journey was over, she could have returned to the castle, but she had ultimately decided against. Ioder would make a good Emperor, and beyond that, her presence wasn't needed beyond the occasional social event. That's not to say that she didn't pay the occasional visit, but she much preferred her small cottage on the outskirts of Halure.

Life had settled into sort of a rhythm here; on Mondays and Wednesdays, she'd focus on her writing. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, she'd still make time for writing, but she'd also take time out to read to the children of the village. It helped her to write, and she got to help out while their parents were busy working. Fridays, she'd visit a local market to do her shopping for the week, and Sundays, she'd do whatever she pleased. Although she spent most of her time within the small town (Which, ironically, was smaller than the castle alone), she felt more free than she had before. She had made her choice, at least for now, and that helped her feel content.

[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] I've wanted to play Estelle for awhile. I already play in Som, and I wanted to play another Tales character.
